"... in between the dipper and the lion you’ll find a small cluster of three pairs of stars, known in Arabian culture as the “three leaps of the gazelle.” They form another asterism within the constellation of Ursa Major; in the context of the bear, they form the claws on three of his feet, but I kind of like the image of the gazelle leaping away after encountering the Lion and the Bear. ..."
